2011-2012 Dream

While studying at the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, Hu Shaoming independently createdDream— a surrealist large-scale sculpture of a colossal seahorse submerged beneath the sea, its crown breaking the surface as a castle, its body filled with intricate mechanical structures. The work is a call to awareness: a meditation on the steel-driven erosion of modern civilisation and an urgent plea for the natural world.Pictured: the artist alongsideDreamduring its creation.

FULL BIOGRAPHY

2012-2013 The Shelter

The Shelterwas Hu Shaoming's graduation work at the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts — an umbrella from beneath which an inverted steel city grows downward, its skyline composed of traditional Chinese architectural forms rendered in cold industrial metal. The umbrella becomes a metaphor for preservation: sheltering cultural heritage from the encroachment of modernity. The work has been permanently acquired by China Central Television (CCTV), Beijing.

FULL BIOGRAPHY

2014-2026 Hyper-Realistic Portraiture

From 2014 onward, Hu Shaoming devoted himself entirely to hyper-realistic portraiture — evolving from classical wax figure techniques to the refined craft of high-performance silicone sculpture. His pursuit has always been guided by a deeper ambition: to render not merely a likeness, but the presence of a soul. This devotion gave rise to an atelier built on uncompromising standards, earning the enduring trust of collectors and institutions worldwide.

OUR MANIFESTO

Mastering the truest details with the most dedicated craftsmanship. We don’t just make portraits; we capture the authentic spirit of a person.

THE ATELIER

FROM SKETCH TO SOUL

THE VISION

Every project starts with an anatomical deep-dive. We don't just replicate forms; we capture the hidden 'presence' that makes a legend immortal. It’s about finding the man behind the mask.

THE MATERIALS

We utilize premium, high-performance silicone selected for its superior stability and lifelike texture. Optimized for a 7-15 year lifespan in stable indoor environments, our material maintains its integrity when protected from direct UV exposure and temperature fluctuations.

THE CRAFTSMANSHIP

Led by Artist Hu Shaoming, whose relentless pursuit of perfection drives every detail. Every piece represents 1,200+ hours of micro-sculpting—a testament to academy-trained precision and reverence.
